Ronald Reagan Autographed Collage
Presented is an elegant collage showcasing former president Ronald Reagan’s signature along with two black and white photos. The signature card has the printed words, “With best wishes,” and Reagan’s signature just below in black ink. The card also contains an embossed Seal of the President of the United States on the upper left corner. All are framed together in a classic, black and silver custom frame.
Ronald Reagan is one of the most well-remembered presidents of the modern era. Originally a Chicago Cubs sportscaster and later actor, Reagan switched career paths to eventually become America’s 40th president holding office from 1981 to 1989. Nicknamed “The Great Communicator” for his effective oration skills, Reagan’s presidency was defined by his foreign policy. Initiatives such as the build-up of weapons during the Cold War, the Reagan Doctrine, and the Strategic Defense Initiative would all be cited as defining characteristics of the Reagan administration.
The Seal of the President of the United States was often used for official correspondence between the President and Congress, but was also used for general written presidential correspondence. Based on the Great Seal of the U.S., the Seal of the President has thirteen stars and thirteen clouds above an eagle that clutches the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
Overall very good condition. The signature card is clean and bright while the signature is dark and legible. No notable damage to the signature card. Both newly printed photographs are in fine condition and all elements are framed together in a custom black and silver archival frame.
